All the demure femininity of long dresses and covered skin, yet all the scandal of corset cleavage. And the men had it made in regards to garmentry. Yes, it was uncomfortable, but so are ties, so get over it. High collars are making a comeback in some fashions, though, so maybe it's just a step or two until we get to cravates...?Metasapienhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11073906759909378178noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3270059984080993141.post-37456522685442526592010-02-11T09:51:23.166-08:002010-02-11T09:51:23.166-08:00Awesome looking boobs is pretty much the whole poi...Awesome looking boobs is pretty much the whole point of corsets :P

But seriously though, I could totally dig making the whole wedding party dress up in period costumes like that. That would be very cool. I'll leave it at that before this devolves into me fantasizing about my wedding day like a 14 year old girl.Drakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16622313946195004021noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3270059984080993141.post-58638544614926306422010-02-11T08:42:44.180-08:002010-02-11T08:42:44.180-08:00My friend got married in a cravat kind of thing wi...My friend got married in a cravat kind of thing with a morning coat (or something. He told me what it was, but I forgot.)
It was so cool looking. And I know I don't know you, but corsets would make my boobs like awesome. I'd be okay with them. And now we can go back to non-awkward talk.Jules AFhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06336241065496752673noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3270059984080993141.post-54502994961415590782010-02-08T15:04:13.946-08:002010-02-08T15:04:13.946-08:00I really should stop commenting there, it only enc...I really should stop commenting there, it only encourages them. I just can't believe they have so many girls cheering them on. I would be so on board with a Pride and Prejudice party (of course, I'm lucky in that corsets aren't part of the equation for me).

I do have issue with some things in Pride and Prejudice that I'll probably blog about later, but certainly not their style and dance moves!Drakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16622313946195004021noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3270059984080993141.post-85427750091757684742010-02-08T14:26:15.573-08:002010-02-08T14:26:15.573-08:00oh my goodness. We learned all the dances, and dressed up, it was really neat! although i'm glad we don't have to wear corsets anymore!Jocelynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02014177667860799686noreply@blogger.com
